Joe Catalanotti - Current Associate Head Coach of Adelphi University. Recently named 2011 NCAA Div II Assistant Coach of the Year. Joe is beginning his 9th season stalking the sidelines for the Adelphi University men's lacrosse program. His responsibilities will include recruiting and working with the Panther defense.
Coach Catalanotti comes to Adelphi from Molloy College, where he built the Lion's program from the ground up, starting the program 14 years ago as a club team. He guided Molloy to a national raking of fourth, twice in his time on the sidelines in Rockville Centre, New York and produced 27 All-Americans. In 13 years as a varsity head coach, Coach Catalanotti posted a record of 92-59 overall and earned East Coast Conference Coach of The Year honors in 2005. In addition he guided Molloy to 11 season ending national rankings in 13 springs.
Tim Radomski - Coach Radomski is currently the head coach for the Massapequa Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team. Under Coach Radomski’s Tutelage the Massapequa Chiefs lacrosse team have won six consecutive Nassau County Conference “A” Championships, they have won three Nassau County Class “A” Championships, a Long Island Class “A” Championship, and a NYS Class “A” Championship.
Kieran O'Brien - A current Assistant Coach at Syosset High School. While At Syosset, Coach O’Brien helped the Braves win one Nassau County Conference “A” Championship and one Nassau County Class “A” Championships. During his tenure at Massapequa, Coach O’Brien helped win five consecutive Nassau County Conference “A” Championships, three Class “A” Nassau County Championships, a Long Island Class “A” championships, and a NYS Class “A”. Coach O’Brien was also a member of the Adelphi University 1993 National Championship lacrosse team.
Thomas Engelke- All American player. Among all time leaders in career points,points in a season, career assists and assists in a season in N.Y. State history. Winner of the Bill Ritch award for the best offensive player in Nassau County in 1983. Member of the undefeated Division 1 National Champs in 1984 at Johns Hopkins. Transferred and was a 3 year starter at UVA. Led UVA in assists as a junior and senior. Played professionally for the N.Y. Saints.
Sal Tuttle- Played varsity lacrosse at Farmingdale High School. Was All-Conference, Two time All-County, All-Long Island and All-American. Scored 208 career points in lacrosse, which placed him 9th all-time at Farmingdale High School. Sal also won a state championship his senior year. At Adelphi, Sal was awarded NE-10 All-Rookie team, NE-10 Rookie of the year, NE-10 player of the year (Twice), USILA Division 2 Attackman of the year (Twice), NE-10 First team All-Conference (3 times) ECAC First Team All-Star (twice), Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American (3 times), LT. Col. J.L. Turnbull Award (division 2 attackman of the year (twice), 3x All-American, tallied 197 goals and 116 assists. 313 points total, which makes him Adelphi’s All-Time leader in points.
Tommy Susko- Current MLL Lizards assistant coach, current head coach of Locust Valley High School, and former Adelphi University assistant coach. Named to the All-NE-10 Second-Team (2011)...named to the NE-10 All-Tournament team (2011)...received NE-10 Player of the Week honors (4/11). 2011: Played in 18 games with 14 starts...led the team with 41 goals and was tied for third with 48 points...added seven assists...scored five man-up goals and added 15 ground balls...finished third in the NE-10 during leageu action with 2.33 goals per game...scored a season-high five goals three times (3/9, 3/19, 4/9).At Molloy College: A four-year member of the lacrosse team and appeared in 40 games...first start came freshman year in the [apos]07 season against Towson University.
Joe Catalanotti Jr- A three time All-American. Played lacrosse at Nassau Community College and Adelphi University. Named team captain his senior year. While at Nassau he received 2nd-team All-Region. At Adelphi he received Second Team All-Conference and two First Team All-Conference awards. He also earned Third Team All-American and two Second Team All-American awards. His senior year he was selected to the NE-10 All-Tournament Team. He is a Three time All-American who was drafted in the 2017 MLL draft, taken as the number 88th pick by the Long Island Lizards.
Ian Kirby- Led Massapequa High School to its first New York State title. Two time Nassau County Champ. Three time All-Nassau County honoree. Under Armour All-American, member of the All-Long Island Lacrosse Team, Honorable mention all-metro (tri-state) lacrosse team member, County Championship MVP and player of the game in 2014. Named Lacrosse Magazine NE player of the week June 10, 2014 and inside lacrosse #16 rising senior and #5 incoming college freshmen attackmen. Scored seven goals in the county tournament in 2012 and totaled 127 career goals and 73 career assists for 200 career points. As a Freshmen at towson Ian recorded 16 points including a game winning goal in over time against Ohio State Mens Lacrosse. Ian Transferred to Adelphi, where he lead the team in points with 50. Ian earned Second Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-American as a sophmore. Ian is entering his Junior year at Adelphi.
Stephen Bentz - A Team Head Coach 2022. Former All-American Attackman for Hofstra University. Named team captain his senior year. Named All- CAA player throughout his career. Stephen and his class at Hofstra hold the record for most consecutive NCAA tournament appearances with four. Stephen was ranked 6th in the CAA for points his junior and senior years. Named All Long Island in high school and won two gold medals for the Long Island region in the Empire State Games two years in a row. Former assistant coach at Molloy College where he was the offensive coordinator.
Kyle Yberg- Current assistant coach at Adelphi University, former Ohio-Wesleyan Univ assistant coach. OWU defense allowed an avg of 6.13 goals per game under his direction. Former All American Defenseman. Appeared in 14 games with 11 starts...recorded two assists and 22 ground balls in National Championship berth. At Molloy College: A four-year member of the lacrosse team, appearing in 38 games with 16 starts...earned a degree in education, graduating cum laude. 2008-09 Academic Achievement Award for Division II.
Ed Cook- NJCAA Hall of Fame, NCC, Cornell University All Ivy, All American, leading scorer on both national championship teams at Nassau. Twice named to the junior college All-American team, attackman of the year 1984. Lead Cornell in scoring during senior season. Played professionally for NY Saints.
Jim Morrow- Alfred University, All American 3rd team Midfielder/faceoffs, North South All Star game.

Anthony Gomes- Is the current defensive coordinator at Locust Valley High School. He was a member of the Nassau Community College and Adelphi University men's lacrosse team. At Nassau Anthony received First-Team All-Region and was selected for the All Tournament Team. After nassau Anthony played at Adelphi where he earned Second Team All-Conference.
Bobby Bleistein-Is a graduate & 3x-All American Goal Keeper at Connecticut College. Started as as a Freshman and was a 4 year Starter at Conecticut College, All-County HS Lacrosse Players at Locust Valley HS.
Ryan Kirby- Played lacrosse at Massapequa High School. Was one of Nassau's leaders in asssists and was awarded All-County. Finished his lacrosse career at Stevenson University playing in over 45 games. He also won a National Championship at Stevenson University
John Kirby - A former Midfielder at Towson University. John also has two sons, Ryan and Ian, that play college lacrosse at Stevenson and Towson University. John has coached HS and youth lacrosse for the past 20 years and is currently the Recruiting Coordinator for the True Blue Lacrosse program.
Additionally, TRUE BLUE LACROSSE is aligned with multiple NCAA Players, NCAA coaches and industry veterans who generously contribute to our program. Our goal is to see that every player continues to grow, learn the game, enjoy the game and plays at the next level.
